The Online Monster Taming Convention, i.e., MonCon, was made after seeing somebody else in Discord wish for a convention that is just for indie games with heavy monster taming elements. I started wishing for the same thing, but I caught myself mid-thought to realize somebody had to make it and it could be me.

After asking many indie monster taming game developers about their interest in participating, and seeing the high interest in it, I decided to make MonCon reality.

I’m Nick, and I run the Youtube channel RetroGames HQ. I’d greatly appreciate you subscribing. My channel is all about games with monster taming elements, so you’d be interested in them.

Make sure you also go check out the “Games” tab as there are tons of great indie monster taming games there. Click on any game’s image and you’ll be brought to their designated convention page – think of it as their “stall” for this convention.
